Kaduna ACReSAL works with communities to establish monitoring and evaluation frameworks to track the progress and impact of implemented programs.

The project facilitates knowledge exchange between communities by organizing workshops, farmer-to-farmer learning programs, and creates platforms for sharing best practices in sustainable land management.

Project Background

Kaduna ACReSAL project is an off short of the Nigerian Erosion and Watershed Management Project (NEWMAP) . The NEWMAP project is transited to Agro Climatic Resilience in Semi-Arid Landscape (ACReSAL) project following its completion on th 30th June , 2022. KAduna ACReSAL project commenced implementation in July , 2022 to date.

ABOUT ACReSAL

The ACReSAL project is a multi-sectoral and multi-institutional scheme, covering Environment, Agriculture and Water. It was designed by the Federal Government to combat desertification, restore degraded lands, and special ecosystems for agriculture and biodiversity conservation.
