Earlier today, the National Project Coordinator of the Agro-Climatic Resilience in Semi-Arid Landscapes (ACReSAL), Abdulhamid Umar, led senior officials from the Federal Project Management Unit and the Kaduna State Project Coordinator, Hadiza I. Halid, Esq., on a condolence visit to the Honourable Minister of Environment, Mallam Balarabe Abbas Lawal, in Zaria, Kaduna State. The visit followed the passing of the Minister’s mother, Hajiya Dayyaba.
The late Hajiya Dayyaba was remembered as a woman of rare virtue, deeply admired for her faith, wisdom, and compassion. She devoted her life to service, kindness, and the upbringing of her family and community, leaving a lasting legacy of integrity and generosity.
During the visit, Abdülhamid Umar offered prayers for the repose of her soul, asking Almighty Allah to forgive her shortcomings, reward her good deeds, and grant her eternal rest in Jannatul Firdaus.
